The problem with Christianity is that people treat it as a theoretical religion instead of what it really is: Christianity is centered around JESUS, God, the creator of the Universe, dwelling with humanity, not only as a saviour, as a lord, as king, but also as a FRIEND!
He's right by our side, each and every second. He is constantly knocking at our heart's door and wanting to have dinner with us (Revelations 3:20). Jesus is called EMANUEL, which means "God with us". It's not God with José, not God with the Christians, not God with the good guys, not God with the whites, not God with whatever... It's God with US! Jesus called us his friends, and he gave his life and resurrected so that we could be forever friends with him, regardless of our past sins. He paid the price in that cross, now we can talk to God ALL THE TIME!
It's real, and it gets more real as soon as you start not to treat it like a religion, but as a deep friendship, in which He's always by your side, guiding your ways, leading you to live forever in his presence. He’s there now, by your side, why won’t you start you friendship with Him now? Why don’t you just open your heart to Him and let the most beautiful friendship of all begin?
